Updating WordPress plugins and Drupal modules is a pain, but it can become unmanageable when you have dozens or hundreds of sites. Pixo has automated the process to apply all plugin and module updates on Pantheon sites with a simple command. In this post, we explain how to use this automation and we share the code.

Landi joined the Pixo team as our Support Engineer Intern in 2013, as she was finishing up her Computer Engineering degree at the University of Illinois. As soon as she stepped off the graduation stage, Pixo snatched her up! As Pixo’s Support Engineer, she is responsible for our extensive Technical Support and End User Help Desk.
Landi grew up in Chicago and taught martial arts. She has been training since she was 8 years old. Landi has been instrumental in many outreach programs to get young women and underrepresented students interested in Engineering. Every summer, she teaches Computer Science to high school girls at the GAMES camp – hosted by Women In Engineering at the U of I.

Shawna joined the Pixo team in February of 2013 and now plays an administrative role on the Sales team. She loves providing support to and bridging the connections between sales, customer service, research, development, user experience, and the business itself.
Before coming to Pixo, Shawna worked in research labs at the U of I, utilizing her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. She has a passion for science and nature and spends her spare time reading, doing art, and eating wonderful food. She is also an advocate for childhood cancer survivors, and hopes to one day race in a para-triathlon event.
