A website’s architecture is the core element that determines whether users will be successful and satisfied when using the website. The architecture design dictates not only the sitemap for the website, but also the ways in which the real estate of each page is used, the labels that each link will be tagged with and the placement of messaging and visual impact.
Relying on the requirements gathering phase and best practices, Pixo will create a clickable wireframe to showcase the designed architecture. The wireframe will also allow stakeholders to “take the site for a test drive” and see how each element in the website will be labeled and located. With an approved architecture in hand, we move into the visual design, or user interface, phase.
