Pixo historically had success with the waterfall model. However, as the industry has changed to demand quicker turnaround times for massively more complex deliverables, we’ve discovered that the increased complexity pushed the waterfall model past what it could handle. It was now a liability. Our Creative Director Maya Bruck was recently featured on howdesign.com‘s blog where she recounts Pixo’s recent project management shift away from the waterfall model to a more collaborative and flexible workflow.
“By inviting clients, project managers, developers and QA folk into the process, you’ll have access to perspectives you may not have gained otherwise. This creates a culture of shared ownership around the project.”
We are also excited to share that Maya will be speaking on this topic at the upcoming How Design Live conference in May 2015.
