“I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, ‘If this isn’t nice, I don’t know what is.'” -Kurt Vonnegut
After growing up not too far away in Normal, Nicole moved to Urbana to attend the University of Illinois and has been in town ever since. While at the University, she was heavily involved in the English department and enjoyed interning at the Spurlock Museum. After graduating in 2014 with a degree in English, she joined Human Kinetics as a managing editor. There she discovered her love for detail-oriented projects and outside-the-box thinking, skills that would translate well into her role as QA Specialist at Pixo, which she began in 2017. Nicole is passionate about making all the puzzle pieces fit to ensure the success of a project, as well as the happiness of the clients, users, and her teammates.
When not at Pixo, Nicole can be found at any number of local trivia nights or running the “Hopstars” 4-H group for rabbit agility. She enjoys running, playing the violin, watching any and all TV, and spending time with her own agile rabbit, Pip.
