Pixo’s Support Team is a fast-paced and constantly evolving group responsible for supporting the products that Pixo delivers. We get the opportunity to touch many different systems and technologies including Node and AngularJS, PHP, ASP.Net, WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, and we’re expanding this list of technologies all the time. If you have a solid footing in a few of these technologies, but want the opportunity to grow and touch a bunch more, we want to hear from you! We are looking for an experienced web developer to help us take on ambitious projects and support complex systems. The projects you will support include custom-built, full lifecycle, business applications delivered through web and mobile interfaces. These projects often employ a LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL/PostgreSQL, PHP) with modern web tools such as jQuery, AJAX, and Web Services. We’re looking for people who are passionate about helping customers and get an absolute thrill from tackling new challenges and learning new things. You should enjoy working with others, but be comfortable working independently as well. Proven excellence in code documentation and testing a must. Experience working with customers and supporting legacy software desired.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting clients via email, phone, and screen-sharing.
  • Communicating early and often with clients and internal team members.
  • Triaging and solving bug reports.
  • Making changes to software systems and websites ranging from a 1-line fix to significant enhancements.
  • Estimating, planning, and building new features in existing systems.
  • Creating clear and thorough internal and external documentation.
